I've never outsourced any of my work before, how do I know where to start?

Some people know exactly what work they want me to do because they don’t enjoy specific tasks or have no idea how to do them. Other people are so overwhelmed they don’t know where to begin. If you’re in the latter group, then I’d suggest we have a chat about what’s working for you and what’s not then we can decide on the next steps together.

What's it like working with Karen or her team?

I’m here to make your life easier, so once we get settled into a working routine, you will begin to learn very quickly that I have your back. I’ll pick up on things when you’re busy, remind you of deadlines you need to meet and generally help you stay on top of your game. From managing your diary to organising your team just think of me as part of the team.

How long will it take you to get up to speed?

Like any relationship, as we get to know one another, we’ll find the best ways to work together. There’s always a settling in period, but I’m a fast learner, and I’ve done this before, so I know a few short cuts to help expedite the process.

How can you manage my inbox, it’s private, contains highly sensitive information, and you’re a stranger?

Probably the most common concern my clients is their confidential information, but because of the nature of my work, I am always discreet, trustworthy and never inappropriate. I am familiar with an NDA, and we can discuss other details that may concern you.

Once we get started, you’ll wonder how you ever managed without my organisation skills. I’ll make recommendations on sorting your inbox to maximise efficiency, prioritise your responses and your task list.

How do you manage my diary and travel arrangements?

I am highly adept at getting to grips with your diary quickly. I’ll make recommendations and improve the efficiency of your working day; prioritising meetings, calls and travel. I can take care of everything from booking flights and hotels to managing your schedule, so you hit the ground running.

What does it cost?

I offer either a ‘retained’ option of hours to suit your budget or literally an ad-hoc rate for one off tasks!

Are there hidden costs?

No, my rates are transparent and inclusive of all work agreed. If there are expenses or I have made purchases on your behalf, all additional costs will be agreed on beforehand.

What if you are fully booked when I need help?

I have a team of experienced and professional associates at VA Advantage. Each of them has been pre-screened and have all of the requisite skills, including insurance and registered data protection.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

My minimum term for a package is 2 months; This will enable us to get to know one another, understand working styles, systems and expectations to ensure a seamless delivery every time.

I do offer ad-hoc work as and when hours are available. 

Do you help with project management?

Absolutely, I love getting stuck into a project whereby I can help you to deliver it on-time and in-budget.

My organisation skills go into overdrive, and I’m happy working with systems and software to maintain good communications and feedback across your team.
